La Riforma luterana e la nascita del concetto moderno di sovranità. Sulla polimorfa natura del «religioso» nella prima età moderna

This paper aims at shedding light on the relationship between the Lutheran Reformation and the modern concept of sovereignty. In particular, it suggests a threefold articulation (political, normative and geographical) of such a religious fracture and it highlights how it contributed to the process of birth of the Nation State.
