Abstract:
Acute mesenteric ischemia/infarction is a complex
and often misdiagnosed syndrome. The availability of
new imaging methods, namely multislice computed tomography,
has enabled early recognition of signs and
symptoms of acute mesenteric ischemia, resulting in timely
therapeutic intervention.
