The PHARMACOLOGY course is structured in 12 lessons for a total of 24 hours concerning the following topics: -Main drug delivery routes; -Elements of pharmacokinetics (absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs in healthy subjects and patients); - Pharmacodynamic elements (mechanism of action and variability of response to drugs); -Pharmacology-toxicology topics (drug interaction, abuse, tolerance, addiction); - Clinical pharmacology topics concerning the mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic indications, adverse effects and interactions of local anesthetic drugs, general anesthetics, opioid analgesics, sedative-hypnotics, drugs that act on the blood, chemotherapy, antibiotics.
