The Industrial Economics course is divided into lectures (L) (45 hours) and exercise sessions (E) (12 hours); in the latter, problems related to the various topics covered in the lectures are discussed and solved. The exercise sessions will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams.

The Industrial Economics course studies the main forms of non-competitive markets (monopolies and oligopolies) and the behavior of firms operating within them, with a particular focus on product pricing strategies. The course also discusses public policies aimed at regulating non-competitive markets, with special attention to competition policies designed to protect consumers.
