abstract:
The teaching of criminal law is constantly evolving, being called upon to renew itself also in relation to the evolution of the legal professions that are the formative target of the Law Faculties. The essay, moving from the crisis that legal studies are currently experiencing, identifies which corrective measures could restore effectiveness to a didactics, still largely traditional, based on the frontal lesson.
One of the possible way of improving teaching is related to the availability of teaching and learning paths, designed to foster, in university professors, the acquisition of skills in relation to learning psychology, communication, social interaction skills and empathy. Particular attention is paid to the potential of flipped classrooms, cooperative learning and restorative learning.
