La diversion: gli istituti funzionali all’estinzione del reato tra processo e mediazione

The essay explores with constant and equal attention to the linguistic profile and the dynamics of criminal policy the concepts of deflation, decriminalization, diversion and prevention. Subsequently, it tries to verify how the institutions functional to the extinction of the crime are placed in the presence of deflation, decriminalization, diversion and prevention strategies. Again in relation to those strategies, restorative justice programs are analyzed and evaluated. The conclusion identifies what is the quid pluris of restorative justice compared to the classic strategies examined above.
