Constructive Analysis and Synthesis of Programs

This book describes the approach to the constructive analysis of computation as developed by Prof. Pierangelo Miglioli and his school, the author's is proud to be part of.
This text has been based on the author's PhD thesis and on the series of lectures given in 2006 at the Mathematisches Institut of the Ludwig Maximilians Universitaet in Munich (DE).
Starting from the analysis of the problem behind formal verification of programs and showing the need for automatic synthesis and analysis of computer programs, the book presents the logical systems to reason about programs, the way to encode specifications so to enable their computational reading. Then, the mathematics behind synthesis and analysis of computer programs is developed in depth.
