Prospects

With regard to the evolutionary steps in the development of AI and machine learning, the world opinions differ—from optimistic beliefs in the human-centric ethical AI creating a technological Eden, to most pessimistic ones reflecting both the imperfection of this technology, the way we are dealing with it and emerging threats of developing a new type of alien intelligence. Between both of them there is also a middle way proposed by common sense.
