The essay explores the potential applications of restorative justice for the management of white-collar crime. It moves from the definition of white collar crime and the analysis of fundamentals and methods of restorative justice. It evaluates if the restorative justice methods - which are based on the recognition of "the other", responsibility, sharing the truth, re-integrative shaming, symbolic and material reparation - can also be used with respect to economic crimes. The reference to the methods of the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission is important methodologically.
