MENGALI ANDREA

Andrea Mengali was born in Pisa on April 11, 1980. After graduating from the "Ulisse Dini" Scientific High School in Pisa, he enrolled in the Law Faculty of the University of Pisa, graduating with honors during the 2002/2003 academic year. In 2006, he began a PhD program in Domestic and International Arbitration Law at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, obtaining his doctorate in 2009 with a thesis titled "Principles and Rules of Evidence in Arbitration." He has authored publications on civil procedure, including monographs covering ordinary civil proceedings, proceedings before the Court of Cassation, and arbitration. From 2011 to 2024, he has been an adjunct professor of civil procedural law at the University of Pisa, teaching at the Naval Academy in Livorno. He has taught in training courses for the written section of the bar exam and he has been a teacher of civil procedural law at the Schools of Specialization for Legal Professions at the Universities of Florence and Pisa. He has been registered with the Pisa Bar Association since December 18, 2009, and is currently listed in the special registry for university researchers and professors. On May 31, 2021, he obtained the National Scientific Qualification to teach civil procedural law at the level of Associate Professor. Since November 1, 2024, he has held the position of fixed-term researcher in civil procedural law at the University of Insubria, where he teaches Civil Procedural Law I, Civil Procedural Law II, and Advanced Civil Procedural Law within the Law degree programs at the Varese campus.
