BAUCE FRANCESCA

Francesca Bauce Sanz is a conference interpreter, translator and university lecturer, who graduated with top honours in Specialised Translation and Conference Interpreting from IULM University, Milan. Since 2024 she has collaborated with the University of Insubria as a Language Expert Collaborator at the University Language Centre (CLA) and as an adjunct lecturer for the courses English for Corporate Communication, English Language and Literature Teaching, and Principles of Language Teaching Methodology, within the initial teacher-training and qualification pathways (Ministerial Decree 621/2023). A freelance simultaneous interpreter and translator working between Italian, Spanish and English, she combines her teaching and professional activity with research on the translation of swearing in simultaneous interpreting — the subject of her master's thesis, awarded Best Thesis of the Faculty for the 2022/2023 academic year, and of a forthcoming contribution for Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
