CARCANO GIUSEPPE

Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Insubria, where he teaches Italian Literature in the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Communication Sciences and Academic Italian in initial teacher education and certification programmes. His academic work focuses on Italian literature, language education, and teacher education, with particular emphasis on academic literacy, disciplinary writing, and the preparation of future teachers. Alongside his university teaching, he has over thirty-five years of experience in educational leadership and the governance of the Italian education system. He has served as Principal of secondary schools and currently holds the position of Director of the Provincial Office of Varese within the Regional School Office for Lombardy. His scholarly and professional interests include teacher education, educational leadership, language education, educational policy, and innovation in teaching and learning.
