July 1996: degree in Physics at the Milan University ``Università degli Studi di Milano'' (Italy) with the thesis ``Quantum fluctuations around a wormhole'', elaborated under the guidance of professor G. Preparata.
February 2000: PhD in Theoretical Physics at the Milan University ``Università degli studi di Milano'' (Italy), with the thesis ``nonperturbative methods in string theory'', under the supervision of professor D. Zanon.
2000-2001: postdoc position with title ``Topological aspects in Field Theories'', under the guidance of professor R. Ferrari, at the Physics department of the ``Università degli Studi di Milano'' in Milan (Italy).
December 2001--2005: postdoc position at the Mathematics department of the ``Università degli Studi di Milano'' in Milan (Italy).
