The research activity of this group is focused on the development of nanoporous and nanostructured materials, on their characterization and on the investigation of their applications. In particular, we are interested in studying photo(electro)catalytic processes of environmental interest such as the removal of toxic pollutants from water (e.g. arsenic and mercury) and the evolution of hydrogen.
