1. The Research Center on Nutrition from conception to developmental age aims to develop the integration between the activities of researchers and teachers from different scientific-disciplinary areas by promoting the development of an interdisciplinary approach, and to foster innovation and the transfer of knowledge with particular reference to nutrition from conception to developmental age. The main issues that are the subject of the Centre's activities are the following:
a. promote research in the field of prenatal, postnatal and pediatric nutrition or on cell biology, genetics, pathophysiology, pharmacology and clinical management of nutrition from conception to developmental age;
b. encourage the development of an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach to deepen knowledge in the field of nutrition from conception to developmental age by linking the skills of the different groups operating at the various research facilities of the University of Insubria;
c. promote experimentation in the field of nutrition from conception to developmental age, with particular regard to the physiopathological, epidemiological and pharmacological aspects;
d. researching new methodologies and clinical strategies for the management of nutrition from conception to developmental age;
e. implement prevention protocols regarding the role of nutrition from conception to developmental age;
f. encourage collaboration with national and international reference centers;
g. encourage the comparison, dissemination and dissemination of knowledge through scientific articles, communications, conferences, courses, editorial and publicistic initiatives and any other training and information program relating to nutrition from conception to developmental age;
h. establish training programs on the clinical evaluation of nutrition from conception to developmental age to contribute to the training of researchers, experts and teachers of the discipline.
