Research Center on Dyslipidemias

The Center pursues the following purposes: a. promote research in the field of dyslipidemias, i.e. on cell biology, genetics, pathophysiology, pharmacology and therapy of dyslipidemia and atherosclerosis, including metabolic and immuno-inflammatory aspects b. encourage the development of an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach to deepen knowledge in the field of Dyslipidemias by linking the skills of the different groups operating at the different research facilities of the University of Insubria c. encourage experimentation in the area of ​​dyslipidemia, with particular regard to the physio-pathological and pharmacological aspects d. formulate clinical-therapeutic protocols e. activate and participate in clinical-experimental studies e foster collaboration with National and International Reference Centers f. favor the comparison, dissemination and dissemination of knowledge through communications, conferences, courses, editorial and publicistic initiatives and any other training and information program relating to dyslipidemias g. establish training programs on the clinical evaluation of dyslipidemias and their diagnostic-therapeutic program and contribute to the training of researchers, experts and teachers of the discipline
