The Center pursues the following purposes:
a. promote research in the field of thromboembolic diseases, in particular on their risk factors and their natural history and in the field of antithrombotic therapies, to improve the safety of commonly used drugs and to study new drugs in development
b. encourage collaboration with other national and international centers in terms of scientific collaboration and cultural exchanges
c. encourage the formulation of therapeutic diagnostic protocols shared at a multidisciplinary level
d. favor the comparison, dissemination and dissemination of knowledge through conferences, courses and other training programs relating to thromboembolic diseases and antithrombotic therapies
e. establish training programs on research methodology and clinical management of thromboembolic diseases and antithrombotic therapies, contributing to the training of researchers and clinicians who are experts in the discipline
