The Anthropology group studies ancient human remains, particularly skeletons and mummies, reconstructing their biological profiles, health status, and funerary practices. In addition to laboratory analyses, it also focuses on the recovery and conservation of artifacts, participating in excavations and collaborating with museums and cultural institutions. Alongside scientific research, it promotes the enhancement of anthropological heritage through publications, conferences, outreach, and educational activities, making the results accessible to the community and the public.
