Descrizione

LUIGI LAVAZZA è Professore Associato presso l'Università dell'Insubria, a Varese. I suoi interessi di ricerca comprendono l'ingegneria del software empirica, le metriche software e la valutazione della qualità del software, la gestione dei progetti software e la modellazione, la misurazione e il miglioramento dei processi software, e il software open source. Ha partecipato a diversi progetti di ricerca internazionali e ha anche ricoperto il ruolo di revisore per progetti dell'UE. Ha fatto parte del comitato di programma per diverse conferenze internazionali di ingegneria del software ed è stato membro del comitato editoriale per riviste internazionali. È coautore di oltre 200 articoli scientifici pubblicati in riviste internazionali, negli atti di conferenze internazionali o in libri. Luigi Lavazza è membro senior dell'IEEE, membro dell'ACM e fellow dell'IARIA.
