Syllabus

Course Objectives

To acquire a good knowledge of methodology in Global History, and an in-depth knowledge of the global history of the Mediterranean.

Course Prerequisites

Good knowledge of English, level B1 at least. Good knowledge of history at high-school level.

Teaching Methods

Lecturing.

Assessment Methods

The exam will be written and will last two hours. It will include three open-ended questions on the topics covered in the course.

Contents

A history of the Mediterranean from antiquity to nowadays, under political, social, economic prospect.
