The course's objective is to systematically address the most common hematological, gastroenterological, endocrinological, rheumatological, and respiratory diseases. Specifically, the following topics will be addressed for each disease: definition, epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, symptoms and signs, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.
Course Prerequisites
The student must have passed the exams in Immunology, Medical and Surgical Semiotics, General Pathology, Pathophysiology and Microbiology
Teaching Methods
Lectures will be conducted using texts, diagrams, extensive illustrations, and practical examples; students will be guided in understanding the various pathological processes. Upon student request, the instructor may dedicate the first part of each lesson to clarifications and in-depth discussions of topics covered in previous lessons. Clarifications on specific points may also be requested during the lesson.
