BIOETHICS During each lecture ideas, principles, styles of reasoning, argumentative logic, linguistic ambiguities, models of conduct and questions raised in a pluralistic context, will be presented in order to reach the expected level of learning, Each topic presentation will be followed by debate in the classroom, with the relative objections, clarifications, counter-arguments, further examples, testimonies, indication of training material. The use of case reports will allow the application of ethical theories to dilemmatic situations for healthcare professionals, as well as propitiate the expression and interpretation of personal emotional responses and the opening in the classroom of a pluralistic debate both on an ethical and historical-anthropological level.

BIOETHICS Definition of ethics and bioethics (goals and methods); scientific aspects and ethical issues on adult and embryonic stem cells; the human embryo moral status; bioethics of modern reproductive biotechnologies and medically assisted procreation; end of life issues, euthanasia and assisted suicide; organ transplants and recent ethical-social debate on the use of organoids and xenotransplantation; research biobanks and ethical consultancy; genetic testing, gene therapy and gene editing; doping and human enhancement; clinical-pharmacological experimentation, human rights and animal rights; Ethics Committees and National Bioethics Committee (CNB); research integrity; Artificial Intelligence and RoboEthics.
