This course includes classical lectures about the Theory and lectures in which the upper limb functions and gait are analyzed. Demonstrations of exercises aimed at recovering limb function in the hemiplegic subject are planned. Students will get all the slides of the course at their disposal and will be able to review and deepen the contents on the website www.laboratorioneurocognitivo.it.

The Neurocognitive Theory of Rehabilitation: 1) Rehabilitation as a learning process under pathological conditions; 2) Movement as Knowledge; 3) Body as a Somesthetic Receptorial Surface; The Tools of the Neurocognitive Rehabilitation: 1) Problem-Solving; 2) Perceptual Hypothesis; 3) Motor Image; 4) Visual-somesthetic transformations. Analysis of the pathology in the hemiplegic patient: 1) Abnormal Reaction to Stretching; 2) Deficit in the Recruitment of Motor Units; 3) Elementary Patterns of Movement; 4) Abnormal Irratiation. First, Second and Third Degree Exercises.
