The course includes 40 hours of lectures delivered by the course instructor, complemented by 10 hours of practical exercises. Students have the option to attend two-thirds of the lectures online. Specifically, the first 16 hours will be held exclusively in person, while the remaining 24 hours will be delivered in a hybrid (blended) format. During these 24 hours, the professor will teach regularly in the classroom, and students may choose whether to attend online or in person. Lectures will be based on slides, examples, exercises, and blackboard demonstrations. The instructor also encourages class discussion, including through the use of newspaper articles.

In-depth topics (10 hours): - The creation of money in economic thought - Main theoretical/teaching errors - International balances, the European case, Target 2 - Digital currencies and assets, from cryptocurrencies to Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs)
