The course deeps theories and methods for the development and training of educational professional writing. In particular, at the end of the course participants will be able to: - Present the theoretical and methodological foundations of educational writing; - Reflect on the connection between theory and practice, to make educational work understandable; - Distinguish the different forms of educational writings (personal, collective and institutional writings); - Draw up professional documents (laboratory activity carried out in the classroom).

Teaching Methods
The lessons include an initial stimulus moment to encourage reflection and discussion connected with a concrete experience. This stimulus, linked to the central concepts of the lesson, will be presented through schemes, slides and an interactive dialogue with the students. Furthermore, film sequences, case studies and testimonies will be further the value of educational professional writing. Finally, participants will be asked to produce a project work involving the creation of a written document, to be presented in the classroom and in relation to which they can start a work of reflexivity and critical analysis.
Assessment Methods
The examination involves the assessment of expected knowledge through an oral examination to ascertain the basic knowledge.
Contents
Theoretical insights into the relationship between theory and practice in educational work, between resources and institutional constraints. The role of educational writings with reference to the quality of educational work, signification, professional recognition and documentation. Presentation of models of educational documentation and writing. The different forms of educational writing will become the subject of workshop activities, aimed at deepening the value of documentation within educational work.
