• Acquire the knowledge and methods to manage nursing care, from data collection to the evaluation of evidence-based actions and results, to the person who presents biophysiological, pathophysiological, psychological and sociocultural manifestations and signs related to the disease states of greatest incidence and prevalence in the territory according to the national health plan of surgical and orthotraumatological interest. • Know the methods for managing nursing care, from data collection to the evaluation of actions and results, for the elderly person who presents biophysiological, pathophysiological, psychological and sociocultural manifestations and signs related to chronic degenerative disease states and other disabling conditions with greater incidence and prevalence in the area, according to the national health plan of medical interest. • Acquire the knowledge and methods to manage nursing care, from data collection to the evaluation of evidence-based actions and results, to the person who presents biophysiological, pathophysiological, psychological and sociocultural manifestations and signs related to the disease states of greatest incidence and prevalence in the area according to the national health plan: tumor, cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, infectious, respiratory, metabolic, osteomuscular, neurological diseases. • Acquire the knowledge regarding nursing procedures for acting in accordance with evidence-based nursing and best practices.
Course Prerequisites
The student must have integrate knowledge relating to the disciplines of Anatomy, Human Physiology, General Surgery and Internal Medicine.
Assessment Methods
The written exam will consist of 30 questions, divided among the various courses, taking into account the number of teaching hours provided, as follows: • Infermieristica applicata all’ambito medico: 17 questions, including 5 open-ended questions and 12 multiple-choice questions • Infermieristica applicata all’ambito chirurgico: 7 questions, including 5 open-ended questions and 2 multiple-choice questions • Laboratori professionali: 3 multiple-choice questions • Infermieristica applicata all’ambito ortopedico: 3 multiple-choice questions
The distribution of questions takes into account the educational weight and content within the Integrated Course. Passing the written exam requires a minimum of 18 correct answers; the grade does not count toward the oral exam's average. To pass the oral exam, students must demonstrate achievement of the learning objectives by making connections and demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the topics covered in the various courses. Furthermore, the use of scientific language, critical thinking skills, and clinical reasoning will be assessed. Passing the oral exam requires achieving a passing grade in all four courses of the Integrated Course. The final grade will be expressed out of 30.
