Ability to address the interpretation of technical problems. Knowledge of the scientific bases and principles of the basic techniques such as spectrophotometry, spectrofluorimetry, centrifugation, enzyme kinetics applied to diagnostics, immunochemical techniques

Course Prerequisites

The prerequisites for attending the course derive from the educational obligations of the previous year (I year). Adequate basic knowledge of chemistry, physics, biology, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology and immunology is required. Knowledge of laboratory techniques is required as per the first year's curriculum.

Teaching Methods

The course is organized with lectures that provide for slide projections (usually in English). During the explanation in the classroom the students are invited to interact with the teachers with questions and curiosity. During the lectures the teachers will also present cases and daily facts that can make the application / importance of the subjects of the teachings understand.
