the Clinical Pathology course provides a basic understanding of laboratory diagnostics. At the end of the course, the student will possess a basic knowledge of the main first-level diagnostic tests. In addition, he/she will have learned the precautions to be taken when taking biological specimens and the limitations and strengths of the main diagnostic tests
Course Prerequisites
elementary notions of cellular and molecular biology are sufficient to profitably follow the course. Necessary notions of pathophysiology will be introduced in class by the lecturer

Assessment Methods
the exam is written and consists of one open question (which the student chooses from two proposed by the teacher) and ten closed questions (one correct answer only). The time for the test is 45 minutes. The grade is 16 points for the open question and 15 for the ten closed questions (1.5 points per question) equivalent to 30+1, 30 with honors
