Contents
Teaching focuses on the following topics: - history and definition of the discipline, knowledge of the basic elements of anthropological disciplines; - the fields of anthropology: physical, cultural, economic, religious, and forensic; - medical anthropology: history of the discipline; - introduction to the practice of anthropological research; - medical anthropology in health services and intercultural skills for nurses; - cultural representations of the body, pain, and suffering in different cultures; - presentations of cultural issues in nursing practice through the analysis of clinical experiences.
