Educational goals - Develop manual skills to apply the methods of use of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, according to planned interventions and actions based on standards and scientific evidence - Perform calculations for the dosage, dilution and administration of the active ingredients of drugs and blood products - Apply the assessment tools of the patient's clinical conditions (e.g. pain) Learning Outcomes The student will describe the steps in the process of administering therapy and monitoring for adverse events. It will describe methods for pain detection and identify evidence-based interventions for management It will describe the nursing care for the person undergoing diagnostic procedures. The student will calculate the dosage and dilution of the drugs

The written test includes closed-ended questions. The evaluation of the written test does NOT give rise to a mark but to suitability.
Contents
Presentation and execution of some lists of specific skills of the year of the course (e.g. oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous therapy, dressing of the cutaneous emergency of a peripheral and central venous catheter, positioning of a peripheral venous catheter, blood sampling venous system, electrocardiogram, oxygen therapy, hygiene and medication of the foot with ulcer of the person with diabetes mellitus) Exercises on calculations for the dosage, dilution and administration of the active ingredients of drugs Application of some tools for assessing the patient's clinical conditions
