The aim of the course is to provide a toolbox of notions and operational methodologies for research in linguistics. It will start from the levels of language analysis (phonetics and phonology, morphology, syntax, lexicon, textuality, pragmatics) in order to frame and investigate complex linguistic phenomena, with particular regard to the dimension of teaching.

Lectures, case study analysis, project works, problem solving activities.
Assessment Methods
The final exam consists of an oral interview aimed at ascertaining the acquisition and correct understanding of the course content. A question will be formulated on the content of each of the main contents of the programme, in respect of which knowledge of the subject, expository capacity and capacity for critical analysis will be assessed. The final grade will take into account the accuracy and quality of the answers (60%), as well as the communicative ability and the ability to adequately motivate statements, analyses and judgements shown during the interview (40%).
