The Seminar in Pedagogy and Didactics of Literature aims to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to the use of literature as an educational, formative, and communicative tool. In particular, the seminar emphasizes literature as a relational practice capable of fostering empathy, communication skills, and reflective abilities, with specific attention to the context of Communication Studies.
The seminar contributes to the training of professional profiles able to design and use narrative and literary content in educational, cultural, and communication-related contexts.

Contents
The seminar is structured into four sessions:
Session 1 Definition of key concepts in pedagogy and the didactics of literature. Introduction to the picturebook as an educational tool. Focus on literature and the educational relationship.
Session 2 From content to formation: teaching methodologies for designing lessons aimed at the development of relational skills.
Session 3 Literature and communication sciences: the role of empathy in narrative and communicative processes.
Session 4 Narrating and self-narrating: storytelling as an educational, formative, and communicative practice.
