Provide students with the basic elements of physics, allowing them to acquire a rigorous scientific method and to apply this method to the study of the subjects they will face in the course of their studies. Teaching of the fundamental principles of physics and their implications in the medical field.

Teaching Methods
Frontal lessons. During the lessons the topics that will be the subject of the final essay will be addressed.
Assessment Methods
The exam will consist of a short essay about one of the topics presented during the course, chosen by the student, to be discussed during the oral exam, and some generic questions on the topics of the course. The final grade is common for the entire course, each part of the course contributes to 33% of the final grade (average of the three parts)

- Elements of kinematics and dynamics (2 hours) - Energy and work (2 hours) - Rotational dynamics and joints (2 hours) - Ideal Hydrodynamics and the blood cycle (2 hours) - Real fluids (viscosity, surface tension) and biomedical applications (2 hours) - Perfect gases and laws of thermodynamics (2 hours) - Cell metabolism from the point of view of thermodynamics and chemistry (2 hours) - Electromagnetism and biomedical applications (2 hours) - Optics and the human eye (2 hours) - Sound waves and the human ear (2 hours)
