At the end of the course, students will be able to: - demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the fundamental principles and key issues of general and social pedagogy; - develop educational and pedagogical competencies applicable to professional practice in the fields of physical activity, sport and free time; - understand complex and multidimensional relational dynamics and their connections with personal narrative.

The course adopts an active and participatory teaching approach, placing students at the center of the learning process. It includes individual and group activities, as well as guest lectures and expert testimonials.
Assessment Methods
Assessment is designed collaboratively with students and aligned with the learning process. It may include: the design of an educational-sport project; an oral examination; a mixed-format written test; the presentation of autobiographical writing developed during the course.
The final assessment aims to evaluate students’ knowledge of the course content, clarity of expression, mastery of key concepts, critical reflection skills, and the ability to connect theoretical knowledge with their own sporting, educational, and professional biography.
Contents
The course aims to provide knowledge and understanding of: a) the fundamental issues of general pedagogy, through the study of 20th-century and contemporary educational theorists; b) emerging pedagogical issues of social relevance related to sport (failure and change; intercultural approaches; communication and languages; addiction and youth distress); c) exploratory tools for constructing a personal narrative applicable to educational and sport professions; d) the body as a fundamental dimension of human experience and educational practice; e) the educational potential of sport.
