Conservative and alternative approach in lumbosacral spinal pain in elderly patient

The aim of this study was to review clinical indications to conservative therapy in lumbosacral spinal pain; we evaluated different kinds of therapeutical approaches such as drugs, physical therapy or lifestyle changes, according to physiopathology of discal pain. Moreover, we proposed a review of the most common alternative therapies that, although not always considered as effective in some studies dealing with this subject, are often really appreciated by patients.
