Building a domain ontology from glossaries: a general methodology

We propose a general methodology to build up a domain ontology from one or more domain glossaries. The particular feature of this methodology is in the parallel construction of a domain ontology and a complete domain terminology. In this paper we fully describe the methodology phases and we apply them to a real-world example from the medical domain.
