Rosanna Pozzi explored the relationship between Mario Luzi and Latin American literature, highlighting his role in introducing and promoting in Italy authors such as Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa, Jorge Luis Borges, and many others. The project was carried out in collaboration with the International Relations Office of the UCSS (Universidad Católica Sedes Sapientiae) in Lima, the Italian Cultural Institute in Lima, and the International Research Center for Local Histories and Cultural Diversities. It culminated in the creation of both a physical and a virtual exhibition dedicated to this topic. She also involved students from the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Communication Sciences and Technologies and from the A. Tosi Scientific High School, who produced a literary video reading. The project received an award at Maker Faire Rome on 12 December 2020 in the workshop section dedicated to Research Centers and Universities.

Rosanna Pozzi has devoted her research to the study of trench journalism, with particular attention to L'Astico and the role played by Piero Jahier as its editor. Her work has examined Jahier's distinctive educational, moral, and social approach to directing the wartime newspaper. She has also investigated the relationship between L'Astico and Jahier's wartime diary Con me e con gli alpini (With Me and with the Alpini), identifying both similarities and differences between the two works. On this subject, she has published several scholarly essays and has presented her research at a number of international conferences. She also delivered a seminar entitled Trench Journalism for the Bachelor's Degree Programmes in Communication Sciences and in Communication Theories and Techniques at the University of Insubria (Como–Varese).

Since 2016, Rosanna Pozzi has been engaged in the study, promotion, and dissemination of the poetic works of Marisa Ferrario Denna (Busto Arsizio, 1945–2016), through the publication of scholarly essays and participation in conferences devoted to contemporary literature and women's writing. In March 2025, she conceived and organized the Study and Training Day on the Life and Works of Marisa Ferrario Denna, held in Busto Arsizio under the patronage of the University of Insubria. She is currently editing the conference proceedings, which bring together the contributions of the participating scholars and are forthcoming from Nomos Edizioni (Busto Arsizio). Since the 2025–2026 academic year, she has been the instructor of the seminar The Counter-Canon: Women's Literature, offered within the Bachelor's Degree Programmes in Communication Sciences and in Communication Sciences and Techniques (Lin.Co.Form) at the University of Insubria (Como–Varese). The seminar explores the contribution of women writers to the Italian literary tradition, with particular attention to the processes of exclusion from and redefinition of the literary canon.
