Director of the School of Specialization in Internal Medicine since 2019 and Director of the Research Center on Thromboembolic Diseases and Antithrombotic Therapies, University of Insubria, Varese and Como since 2025. Coordinator of the PhD Program in Clinical and Experimental Medicine and Medical Humanities, University of Insubria, since 2025. Founder and head of the Unit, at the Department of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Insubria, of the Interuniversity Center for Clinical Research since 2021. PhD in Vascular Medicine at the Universiteit von Amsterdam, Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2010. Director of the UOC of General Medicine at the 'Sant'Anna' Hospital, ASST Lariana, San Fermo della Battaglia, Como, since 2019. National Vice President of the Federation of Centers for the diagnosis of thrombosis and the Surveillance of Antithrombotic Therapies (FCSA) from 2021 to 2024.
