LAVAZZA LUIGI ANTONIO

Luigi Lavazza is full professor of Computer Science at the University of Insubria at Varese, Italy. Formerly he was assistant professor at the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione of Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Since 1990 he cooperates with the Software Engineering group at CEFRIEL. His research interests include: Software process modeling, measurement and improvement, Requirements engineering, Model based development, especially concerning real-time and embedded software, and advanced software development environments. He has been member of the Program Committee of several international conferences, including ICECCS, ADVCOMP, ICSEA, ESEM, OSS, IWSM-Mensura, EASE, Quatic. È stato co-chair del comitato di programma di ICSEA. Ha servito come revisore di riviste e conferenze internazionali, tra cui IEEE TSE, ACM TOSEM, IEEE Software, JSS, ICSE. È editor del Journal on Advances in Software.
He has been co-chair of the PC of ICSEA. He is co-author of over 200 scientific articles, published on international journals, or on the proceedings of international conferences or on books. He was involved in several international research projects. He also served as reviewer of ESPRIT and IST projects, and of international journals and conferences such as IEEE TSE, ACM TOSEM, IEEE Software, JSS, ICSE.
