* Main research themes: occupational and community exposure to chemical and biological agents; airborne contaminants (including particulate matter), VOCs and airborne microorganisms; indoor air quality (offices, hospitals, schools) and urban air quality; development of methods for personal exposure assessment and biological indicators.
*Applied research: collaboration with companies and industrial/service settings; more than 700 environmental investigations for exposure assessment to chemical, physical and biological hazards (general population and workers).
* Instrumentation skills: extensive use of instruments for measurement/sampling of risk agents and laboratory equipment for hygiene and toxicology.
