CASTELNOVO VALTER

Walter Castelnovo is Associate Professor of Business Organisation at the University of Insubria, where he teaches Information Systems (Computer Science Degree Course) and Organisational Systems and Organisational Models (Communication Science Degree Course). His research focuses mainly on issues related to technological and organisational innovation in public administration and hybrid organisations (non-profit organisations and cooperative enterprises). He has authored numerous publications on these topics in academic journals and has spoken at national and international conferences. He is a member of the programme committee of numerous international conferences on e-government and information systems evaluation. He was Conference Chair of the 5th European Conference on Information Management and Evaluation and the 13th European Conference on E-Government. He is associate editor of the Journal of Information Systems and Technology Management (JISTEM) and a member of the ICONA Research Centre at the University of Milan. Since 2019, on behalf of PoliS Lombardia, he has been curating an observatory on the cooperative system of the Lombardy Region, carrying out studies and research in preparation for the drafting of the Evaluation Clause for Regional Law 36/2015.
