Daniela Cermesoni graduated in Classics, specializing in ancient history, from the Catholic University of Milan in 1994; in 2022 she obtained her PhD in Law and Human Sciences from the University of Insubria, with a thesis on the Tabula Capuana. From 1998 to 2024 she worked as a librarian and library officer at the University of Milan and the University of Insubria, dealing mainly with specialized reference, electronic resources management, and Open Access. She is currently a research fellow at the Department of Human Sciences and Innovation for the Territory of the University of Insubria; her research fields focus on linguistics in its diachronic and synchronic aspects, with particular reference to the Etruscan domain and the peoples of ancient Italy.
