Active participation in class activities, discussions, and workshops.
Text analysis and didacticization tasks, carried out individually or in small groups.
Development of an educational project, designed within the framework of project-based learning and Service Learning in collaboration with local organizations.
Oral presentation of the project, followed by discussion and peer feedback.
Final oral examination, aimed at assessing the understanding of theoretical concepts, critical thinking skills, and the ability to connect pedagogical theory with the project experience.
Assessment will consider clarity of presentation, critical reflection, appropriate use of pedagogical terminology, and the quality of the educational project.

Contents
The course is organized around three main thematic areas, complemented by workshops, active methodologies, and educational project design activities.
1. Foundations of Pedagogy
Introduction to the epistemological status of pedagogy and its specific language. The module explores the key concepts of the discipline (competence, knowledge, method, assessment, and personalization) and reflects on the relationship between language and educational thinking.
2. Person and Educational Relationship
Analysis of the relationship as the core of the educational process. The module examines the concept of the person, the relationship between freedom and responsibility, and major theories of social relations (Parsons, Donati, Archer), with particular attention to trust, listening, and shared responsibility.
3. Intercultural Pedagogy and Education for Hope
Study of the foundations of intercultural pedagogy, with particular attention to coexistence in plural societies, the deconstruction of stereotypes, and the role of narrative in encounters between cultures. The module also explores hope as a pedagogical category and as a driver of social transformation.
4. Text Didacticization and Linguistic Inclusion
Development of practical skills for simplifying complex texts and creating inclusive teaching materials through glossaries, concept maps, and scaffolded learning activities.
5. Technologies and the Educational Relationship
Critical reflection on the impact of technologies on educational and intercultural relationships, with attention to the risks of dehumanization and the possibilities of responsible and mindful use.
6. Educational Design and Service Learning
Workshop-based activities focused on educational project design in collaboration with local organizations. Students analyze educational needs, design interventions, and present their final projects through processes of sharing and peer feedback.
