Medical Doctor, Specialist in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapist. Tenured University Researcher and Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Insubria; University Hospital Medical Director and Head of the Clinical and Community Hospital Psychology Unit at ASST Sette Laghi.
She carries out teaching, clinical, and research activities in the field of clinical psychology, with particular focus on integrated models for the management of complex conditions. She teaches in the Degree Programme in Medicine and Surgery and in health professions programmes, and contributes to postgraduate teaching in university Master’s programmes, supporting the clinical and relational training of healthcare professionals.
Her scientific and clinical work is primarily focused on psycho-oncology, with specific expertise in hereditary cancers and breast care, as well as obesity and eating disorders, chronic diseases, and psychotraumatology. In clinical settings, she provides assessment, psychological support, and psychotherapy for patients and caregivers.
Certified psycho-oncologist (Level II, Italian Society of Psycho-Oncology – SIPO), she is a member of the National Executive Board of SIPO, coordinator of the working group on oncogenetics, and coordinator of the Lombardy/Friuli Venezia Giulia regional section.
She serves as university representative for MUR-funded projects on psychological well-being and as coordinator of the University Psychological Counselling Service.
She is author and invited speaker at national conferences and training activities on clinical psychology, psycho-oncology, and integrated models of care.
